The City of Columbus was hit was an extensive data breach which impacted most, if not all, of the City’s information systems. As part of this breach, a large volume of personal information was released onto the “Dark Web,” where it is available for view by criminals and other malicious actors. Armed with this information, criminals can impersonate affected individuals online, take out loans in their name, or compromise bank accounts.

We have filed a class action lawsuit against the City of Columbus in order to bring to light what happened and to provide relief to affected individuals. In the meantime, it is important for all City of Columbus citizens of the City of Columbus to remain vigilant regarding their personal and financial information.
